August 2011. It’s been exactly one year! I was SO addicted to this drama and am “nomu nomu” happy I got to be a part of the awesome fanatic following during its run! Especially since I totally missed out during Brilliant Legacy! I loved My Girlfriend is a Gumiho when I first saw it, but appreciate it SO much more when I re-watch it!
Anticipating Actor Lee Seung Gi’s next drama! And hope to see our beloved, adorable, amazing-chemistry “Hoi Couple” together again, just even for a moment! Hoi Hoi!~~

Just to keep the TV ratings (AGB) thing in perspective-
Simply LSGfan’s summary of the facts!
Baker King had unprecedented ratings early on, however, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (finishing at 19.9% ratings) held its own and carried higher ratings than previously slotted drama Bad Guy, even as Baker King ratings continued to steadily increase. Despite strong buzz for Rain’s drama comeback and starting out strong, the final episode for Fugitive had a 12.7% rating; Playful Kiss ended with a 5.9% rating. Also, popular drama Sunkyunkwan Scandal, which aired at a different time but had a similar target audience ended with a final 12.8% rating.
Further, notable popular dramas during the first half of this year (2011) with a similar target audience, Best Love (Hong Sisters previously wrote My Girlfriend is a Gumiho) and City Hunter (directed by the same PD behind Brilliant Legacy) ended their successful drama runs with final episode ratings of 21.0% and 18.0% respectively.
Super hit drama Secret Garden, which aired on the weekends during the end of the 2010 year and into the new year on SBS, closed with a whopping 35.2% rating. Yet, even still, in comparison, Baker King, which aired on Wednesdays/Thursdays ended with crazy goliath ratings of 49.3%.
