I am officially so addicted to the drama and particularly the hoi-hoi couple!  I’ve already watched ep 6 a few times!  When DaeWoong-MiHo are on screen together – whether arguing or laughing – I’m just all smiles!  Again, I love the Hong Sisters and PD for playing DW-MH so comfy together and not awkward; their chemistry (and skinship!) continues to make me believe their relationship is so totally real.

Now that Daewoong and Miho have agreed to be boyfriend-girlfriend for 100 days, MH says that she really wants to do something for DW now that he is her “jjahk” (match).

DW is not interested in this traditional rite at all!  He gets up to leave and MH says let’s instead “jjahk-jeh-kee” (“to mate” in cavemen era terms.  But to naive MH, I think it just means to cuddle with the one you love).  DW freaks out says he’s going to throw up the bead, to which MH says he can’t do anything about it for 100 days.  MH: “You’re mine!” DW is a guy after all and he responds by imagining himself charismatically going in for the kill.  Then he follows through by granting MH her wish.  DW grabs MH and is about to kiss her…

MH responds by giddishly grabbing DW and cuddling him.  Totally taken aback, DW pleads for her to let him go, saying that he was just kidding!  Too cute!  Woah, MH is so aggressive, but in such an innocent way!

DW is definitely a guy and most guys would’ve probably been more than happy “to mate” with MH!  He knows MH’s very naive and doesn’t want to take advantage of her.  I’m also more and more convinced that DW doesn’t think of MH as a girl, mainly because he knows she is a gumiho (non-human).  DW reminds himself and MH that she is a gumiho all the time, much to the chagrin of MH who feels like DW’s always looking down on her BECAUSE she is a gumiho and not a human.

After being questioned by DW, MH admits having thought about eating DW exactly twice.  DW freaks out! I’ve been frustrated with DW’s complete cluelessness towards MH, but… Even though MH is so sweet and pretty, lore says that the gumiho eats guys’ livers.  So why should DW fully trust MH?  If I were him, I’d be wary about her trying to kill me at some point too.

Later DW finds MH wailing in the bathroom…

DW wipes away the red marker circles for MH. This moment is just love.

They’re both in a great mood and DW gives MH the big chicken leg stuffed animal gift.  DW:  “You can’t get too excited and have your tails come out, ok?!”  After she gets the gift, MH: “I like it so much, rather than my tails coming out, I feel like I’m going to cry!”  Aw.

The next morning, DW and MH are walking to school and the Vet calls DW’s mobile asking for MH.  From afar DW sees MH all smiles while talking to Vet.  This starts to make DW obviously jealous…

Park Shin Hye cameo. She plays DW’s school hoobae who’s interested in reconnecting with him.

MH’s turn to be jealous.  MH grabs DW’s hand and flashes the couple rings.

They get to the school.  DW tells MH to wait outside since she’s not human and can’t go in to class.  Walking down the hall, DW sees a pathetic MH outside and goes back for her. And they settle into class. DW steps out to get a drink and runs into Noona, who’s checking up on him to see if there is the rumored couple ring on his finger.  DW takes off the ring just in time and kicks it under the vending machine. Noona convinces him to have lunch with her.

DW tells MH he has something to do, but for MH to stay in class and he’ll come back for her.  DW rushes through lunch with Noona b/c he’s worried about MH the entire time.  Afterwards, he goes back but class is over and MH is gone.

Feeling bad, DW buys high grade beef and gets dinner ready for MH.  He goes downstairs to check and sees her and the Vet together. Vet/Hunter is giving me more and more bad vibes.  I’m not sure yet if he is pure evil but he is definitely holding back on telling the entire truth to MH.  And I did not appreciate him touching MH’s forehead knowing full-well that DW was at the top of the stairs watching!

MH finds a jealous DW eating by himself on the rooftop.  He even teases MH about how she probably faked being sick so that the guy would buy her expensive meat.  HA. cute scene. All of a sudden, MH sees DW’s ringless finger and is pissed off.  The two go to get the ring from under the vending machine...

DW confesses he met Noona but it was nothing serious, and it’s his wish for Noona not to know about MH.  MH doesn’t agree to it.  DW says it figures as she is a gumiho and how can a human depend on anything from a gumiho.  MH is even more pissed off and wants to know if she’s only good for her bead.  DW:  “You know the answer so why are you asking me?”  Agh, DW really has a way of just sticking it to MH, who is absolutely crazy for him!  Again, I think mainly b/c he doesn’t see her as a human, but a non-human gumiho… which is why he’s always surprised when she feels human emotions.

Later that night, DW can’t sleep b/c he’s feeling bad.  He finds MH drunk and her nine tails shining brightly…

Worried that others will be able to see this, DW tells MH to switch off her tails and she does so immediately. She asks if there’s something else she can do for him.  Feeling bad about what he said earlier, he makes MH feel better by asking her to do small little things for him. MH pounds down a loose nail.  Howls to quiet the barking dog.  Kills the mosquitoes flying around, and says she’s always killed them for DW. Aw. DW realizes that’s why he’s never been bittten. And then they start kidding around… a totally too cute for words scene!

But then per her sense of impeccable timing, Noona is on her way. MH can smell her. And to grant DW his ultimate wish… 

MH says “I’m going to die” “I’m going to hide” and jumps off the roof so that Noona won’t find out about her. OMG! (listened to her line a bunch of times and didn’t think she could’ve said she’d die! Got the correct MH line from a Korean netizen post.  This seems to makes more sense now!)

And thank you Woong-ah for walking right past Noona while calling out and and going after Miho at final end of ep 6.  Agh, a week seems so long to wait!
