Lee Seunggi in classic Ferragamo + Cartier for Esquire [ENG]

August 2013.  Love the Esquire online 12-page layout at imagazinekorea.com.  Yay for super-zoom!  So why the Honolulu, Hawaii location shoot…?  Well, it IS a gorgeous vacation spot!  And maybe Seunggi wanted to travel FAR away after Gu Family book filming wrapped…  (He deserves NOT to be on his knees for any of his next roles!!)

I love Cartier, so I was SO ecstatic that he showcased all these gorgeous timepieces and the “Love” jewelry.  Plus, love him in glasses~~!!!  And so handsome in all these classic looks, especially all the Ferragamo!!!  I translated the fashion and accessories specifications.  Since I love this kinda stuff!  Cartier (yes that is a $13,400 timepiece!) and Samsonite chose to also have the cost values be included…

Calibre de Cartier pink gold steel watch ($13,400) is Cartier. Shirt, pants are all Burberry Prorsum.  Classic design glasses ($255) is Karl Lagerfeld by Look Optical.

[Question] A few days ago, I saw news online that a lot of famous celebrities attended a Cartier event.  What kind of event was it?

[Answer] Held on July 3rd at the Sheraton Grande Walker Hill Hotel, in the words of Cartier public relations, this was the largest scale event for Cartier since the launching of Cartier in Korea.  From Kim Heesun, Lee Seunggi, Yoon Eunhye, Choi Shiwon, Ha Jiwon, G-Dragon, and other famous stars to press from all over the world, were invited to the event.  All these people gathered in one place to help celebrate the launching of Cartier’s new Paris Nouvelle Vague collection.

Why didn’t Cody choose one of these Esquire chic Ferragamo suits instead?!?!  Classic-traditional, slim-fit styles always look great on Seunggi…

One cannot always be the winner in real life. Maybe sometimes having the winning desire itself is beautiful enough. Rain could fall; people could be susceptible. One could get sick from eating convenience food past the expiration date; one could become complacent. Losing well is also a skill. Lee Seung Gi knows the rules of the game.

He is a master of winning. Privately, he demonstrates this side of him even better. He doesn’t cross the line of being pleasant and comfortable. “Obeying what needs to be obeyed, that is a real man.” He cherishes and follows this advice from his father. Only Lee Seung Gi can do that – at least among the people that I know.

It has been three years since I last saw him, with more well-defined jaw line and more brilliant eyes, this half-man half-beast, no, I should say this ideal man with his superior genes. To a guy like me, the masculine charisma he exudes seems even stronger.
