Seunggi & Paju Moms make kimchi for neighbors in need


November 15, 2012.  That’s right, on the same day some pathetic people tried to politicize the upcoming election and generate stupid buzz with misleading information associated with celebs and public service endorsements… Seunggi Lee was participating in a sharing happiness community service project with the Paju Mom group, preparing kimchi for 7 hours and helping to deliver these to neighbors in need.

Seunggi in gloves-apron, flexes muscle and makes kimchi for Lottery Commission Sharing Happiness volunteer event!


Nov. 11.  Sharing Happiness through Kimchi-making.  The Lottery Commission, in association with the Korean Government, held its final volunteer project for 2011.  Actor-singer Lee Seunggi, Deputy Minister of Strategy and Finance Ryu Sung Gul, and 120 volunteers made about 1,500 heads of cabbage kimchi and delivered them to orphanages and the elderly (85 years+) living on their own, and community centers serving children, senior citizens, and welfare recipients.  In addition, rice and warm clothing were delivered to the elderly; and school essentials like paper and reading workbooks to young children.

Volunteer Leader Seunggi foot-washes covers for the elderly




On May 9, following the Lotto Commission’s 4th annual Sharing Happiness Volunteer Corps official ceremony, Honorary Ambassador Lee Seung Gi, Deputy Minister for Korea’s Ministry of Strategy and Finance Ryu Sung Gul, Lotto Girl and model Seol Cho Rok, and 1,385 volunteers participated in related activities.  Similar to last year’s big volunteer event, Lee Seung Gi and others visited the elderly and washed bed covers with their feet, provided soothing massages, and helped serve lunch.
