Lee Sun Hee to Celebrate 30-year Career with 15th Album Showcase and Performances by Lee Seung Gi and Others

So excited to see Seunggi perform his teacher’s legendary song “To J…” at her album showcase!!!  And the awesome Yoon Do Hyun is also performing.  ‘The unchanging voice’ of Teacher Lee Sunhee~ 30 years since debuting and still revered! #Respect.  Like all of Seunggi’s music activities with Teacher Sunhee, expect a musically refined event.  Yay for REAL singers!  The kind we may still hear about years from now!

Widely known around the country for her hit song J, Lee Sun Hee is coming back with a new album.

Lee Sun Hee is launching a special showcase on March 25 at an Art Hall in Olympic Park to celebrate 15th album release.

Having won the grand prize from Riverside Music Festival in 1984, Lee Sun Hee will be celebrating her 30th anniversary by releasing the 15th album titled Serendipity, which will include ten self-composed songs.

On March 25, many of her junior singers will be presenting tribute stages.

Yoon Do Hyun, Gummy, Im Jung Hee, T.A-Copy and Lee Seung Gi will be singing some of Lee Sun Hee’s hit songs by re-introducing them in their own unique styles.

Lee Sun Hee will also be singing three of her new songs following the tribute performances.

Singer Lee Sun Hee will release her 15th album ‘SERENDIPITY’ on March 25, 5 years after her last album, while celebrating her 30th debut anniversary this year.

On the day of the album release, Lee Sun Hee will hold a showcase at Olympic Park Woori Finance Art Hall at 8pm KST.

Korean music’s unchanging voice, Lee Sun Hee, is celebrating her 30-year career with her 15th studio album, “Serendipity“! This album comes five years since her last album in 2009, “Love.”

“Serendipity” celebrates both the singer’s growth and style of the past 30 years. She has composed nine out of the 11 tracks, and has written the lyrics for seven. The album title track is the pop ballad ”Meet Him Among Them.“

Lee Sun Hee debuted in 1984 with “To J” as the grand prize winner of the prestigious Gangbyun Music Festival hosted by MBC. Following her older hits, her most recent ones include “Fate,” the OST song to the blockbuster movie “King and the Clown,” and “Fox Rain,” the theme song of the Lee Seung Gi‘s drama “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.”

“Serendipity” is available on and offline starting today. Lee Sun Hee is also set to appear on the SBS talkshow “Healing Camp.”

Can’t believe it’s been almost 4 years since My Girlfriend is a Gumiho!  Omg.
I hope Teacher might sing Fox Rain at her showcase; it was one of her last songs.
