OMG~ The Ratings!!!!  Congrats to Seunggi and the entire cast! And by the way,  LEE SEUNG GI has been the #1 searched item on Naver since this morning and currently is still #1!  I think all of Korea was waiting for this drama to hit these ratings!

Per usual, as this is a SeungGi fansite, a Woong-ah (and Miho) focused recap.
Epic episode so warning up front ~ long post with major screencap spam! :)

Continuing from last week’s ep, DW asks MH why she didn’t tell him about the part that she could die if he didn’t give back the bead on the 100th day.  MH tears up and to make for a better mood, to MH’s delight, DW asks her out on a date!

They stop for ice cream stop and DW orders MH flavors in cow, pig, and chicken colors.  LOL.  DW tries to make the moves on MH.  Pretends to be tired and leans in on her.  Thinking DW’s really tired, MH tries to piggyback him!  Epic fail for DW…

Still wanting attention from MH, DW asks her to feed him ice cream like the couple next to them, but MH has already finished up her ice cream at that point and is totally clueless to DW’s needs!  DW disappointed and another failed effort for him…

They see the couple next to them doing the little heart signal. MH asks about it and DW says it’s a sign of love.  MH copies him.

But then DW tells her that a better way to do the signal is a big heart sign.

MH responds back with the antennae signal she learned from DW’s Auntie!  DW seems a bit weirded out by that response and suggests that MH respond back with a big heart too…

After ice cream, they go to a sauna house (super popular hangout among Korean couples as well as friends).  omg, DW and MH look so cute with their towel heads! However, they spot the Director and DW’s Auntie on a date in the chairs next to them.

DW and MH quickly hide under a towel; hang out and talk under the towel for a while and then eventually are able to get away… Too cute!

As they walk back home, they see an old couple and DW tells MH that 50 years from now, they will be happy just like that couple.

They stroll home and it’s totally freaking romantic! Agh! They stop by a fountain, play around, and make individual wishes…

MH hides behind a tree and waits to hear DW call out for her.  She says to herself that even though she won’t be by DW’s side, she wants him to continue to call out to her like that.  MH wonders whether DW will remember her and is sad.  DW finds her and cheers her up…

Back at home, MH takes down her future plans with DW list saying that these are for after she becomes a human.  She’s starting to accept the reality that she may have to give up being a human so that DW can live.

Together, DW and MH look at the photo album he got her to place all her new memories as a human.  He says the rest of the remaining slots should be for MH-DW photos.  DW starts planning already and says that he and MH should go skiing at the onset of the first snowfall…

Dream sequence follows of DW and MH at ski trip and cute photo of them together (Ok, this could totally pass as a CF!  If KB Card is smart, they’ll know that the public would love to see media darlings Seunggi and MinAh doing a joint CF together!)

MH gazes at photo album blank slots and DW continues to tell her of milestone moments that the two will share together. Commence dream sequence again of DW and MH, this time celebrating Christmas and decorating the Christmas tree…

MH is just loving DW’s stories about their future together!  DW says next year they can even go to the beach, that is once MH gets over her fear of big bodies of water.  MH says she really wants to go to the zoo but DW brushes the idea aside and suggests something else instead.

That night, DW is sleeping and MH is saddened looking at the calendar of remaining days and thinking it’s probably useless to become human now. [Cue Seunggi’s song I Love You From Now On]. Wahhhh!  MH: Even sleeping seems to be a waste.  I’m going to stay up and watch him sleep. Our Woong’s eyelashes are even amazing.

Later on, MH visits the Vet and says that she’s going to China with DW, that she needs to be by his side and the bead as she experiences pain in losing her tails.  Vet just can’t believe that MH is willing to not become human for the sake of DW and says DW probably doesn’t have the same deep feelings for MH, that is, to the degree that he would die for her.  Vet plants a bunch of doubts in MH’s head and says that over time DW will forget about MH.  He dares MH to go and check whether DW would die for her.  (I’m so hating the Vet!)  So MH goes back to DW and tests him with a series of life and death situations and asks whether he choose to save her over himself.

MH asks DW if they had both fallen in the water and both can’t swim and there was only one life jacket, whether he would give it to her.  He jokes that if he gives it to her, what would happen to him!  MH gets upset and he tells her not to worry since he’s a good swimmer.

MH tests DW again.  She asks if there’s a fire who would he send out first, and to think about it carefully.  DW says if there’s a fire, who has time to think carefully, you just have to run out!  MH says she would send out DW first.  DW jokes that of course she would since she wouldn’t get hurt by the fire.  DW tells her not to worry as there won’t be a fire in the apt.

After asking DW one more life-death situation about a rope, MH convinces herself that DW wouldn’t die for her, but that as long as he remembers her after she’s gone, then she’ll be okay.  (that evil Vet has placed bad thoughts in her head!)

Later, MH quizzes DW about events pertaining to when they first met.  DW answers correct on the first one but as MH continues to quiz him on tiny details, DW obviously can’t remember.  She then says she wants to go to the zoo, that she brought it up yesterday, but DW says he doesn’t remember that part.  MH is very upset that DW even forgot about her wanting to go to the zoo and she runs off to see Ajumma.

MH later returns home to find the front door locked. DW tells her not to come in.  MH freaks out thinking DW is really mad at her.  She busts the door open and finds that DW was not mad but trying to surprise her.  DW was making kim-bap rolls for their trip to the zoo.  He even picked up MH’s favorite soda. Aw! MH is so touched.

Later that night, MH and DW go to Grandpa’s house for dinner…

MH tells Grandpa about their zoo trip and how DW loved it.  Surprised, Grandpa says MH must be really special if DW even went to the zoo with her.  He says DW’s parents died in a car crash while returning from a trip to the zoo, and so DW’s never wanted to go to a zoo afterwards.  MH realizes that although all she wanted was for DW to remember her (once she leaves him), she never once thought about how much these memories may hurt him.  Makes her love DW even more…

DW and MH plan to leave for China. They plan to meet at the airport instead of going together since MH wants to visit some people before she leaves.  MH’s sad as she knows that she may never return to this place.

At the same time, Vet reveals to Noona that MH will become human after DW returns bead after 100 days.  But one thing DW doesn’t know is that once the bead leaves him, he will die.  He tells Noona to go and stop DW since she cares about him.  Noona finds DW before he leaves for airport and tells him what the Vet told her about DW dying once the bead is given to MH…

DW is stunned but he says it doesn’t matter, he has to go to MH no matter what.  And he’s off running to the airport to find MH and when he finds MH outside the airport, DW is royally pissed off that MH would just leave him!

DW  sees evil Vet peering out from behind a column and says to MH…

DW: Are you going to just run away! Even though I’m right here!
[MH walks towards DW]
DW: After the 100 days, is it true that one of has to die? [MH nods]. Since this nonsense has already been decided, you’re just going to accept it and run away on your own?! I can’t! I’m not going to!

DW makes passionate plea for MH to take the bead now.  He doesn’t know what will happen but that the Vet dude probably doesn’t either.  DW insists they make their own destiny and hope for the best.  MH is super happy to hear this from DW…

And DW goes in for a serious kiss, crying tears while kissing MH!  Omg, DW (aka Seunggi) seems way to into this!  It’s so lovely but what girl isn’t totally freaking jealous of Shin Min Ah at this moment???!!!

Afterwards, DW goes in for a second kiss, to transfer the bead to MH.  OMFG!

And all this goes down in front of the Vet!  Good!!!! Vet is so getting on my nerves!
