Looks like the 1n2d documentary special is going to be 3 episodes.  Was glad to hear KimC’s narration voice again on Sunday’s Part 2 ep!  Continuing from last week, each of the guys filmed their own part:

• KJM- Where am I going right now?
• MONG- Smile Road
• EJW & KHD- Playing and eating at Jiri Mountain
• SOOG- Research study life
• LSG- Lovely travels with lovely young adult Lee Seung Gi

As this is an LSG fan site… Seunggi highlights.  And Sunday’s ep showed once again why Seunggi the Person is so loved!  It was Seunggi and the Elderly Grandparents for his part! Unlike usual 1n2d trips, many of the random grandparents he ran into didn’t really recognize him at first… but of course, after just talking with them, they just couldn’t help but to compliment our Seunggi… :)

Fully outfitted in fall gear at the start of the trip, looks like the loads of suncream allowed him to take off his jacket! ha ha ha…

By chance, Seunggi meets 1n2d crew member’s (aka Waffe) grandma!
Seunggi’s course, although the shortest one, was the one with no shade; open road throughout for sun-adverse Seunggi!  Anyway, he finally spots a gazebo and is super excited about the shade! There’s a grandma sitting there prepping some veggies.  LSG introduces himself as a “traveler” and the grandma doesn’t recognize him or the 1n2d show.  She and Seunggi start talking as he volunteers to help her with the veggies (he says he’s had a lot of experience with stuff like this on 1n2d!).

Grandma says she just got back from Seoul visiting her kids, who happen to live in Seunggi’s area.  LSG tell her about the 1n2d show and his famous hyungs. (very cute).  Grandma mentions that her grandson worked on a show with Kang Ho Dong.  They put 1 + 1 together and realize her grandson is Waffe-looking 1n2d crew member!

Later, Seunggi still a bit floored by the chance meeting says, “This is a BokBulBok program!”  More of Seunggi and “Waffe’s” grandma…

The 1n2d crew set up to film LSG’s part of the documentary part and a bunch of grandpa/grandmas are sitting nearby watching. They think LSG’s filming a movie! ha. Some don’t know who he is but a few there point out that he’s on tv a lot.  Afterwards, LSG goes to greet them and by chance, one of the guys there is the Village Director, a key person the 1n2d guys always need to meet in order to find lodging for the night.

The director takes Seunggi to his home (nice digs by the way!).  And allows Seunggi to wash up. And per usual, there’s a camera waiting for LSG in the bathroom! He makes sure to check it out and adjust so no sort of mishaps happen! Can the guy please shower in peace?! :)

The Director’s wife prepares an amazing home-cooked dinner just for Seunggi.  And for the first time in a long time (it seems!), LSG gets a hearty meal on 1n2d!  He must have been hungry because he ate and ate and ate! He even sent Soogeun a pic of the food table telling him to hurry up and join him! LOL.

Seunggi meets another grandma with the same Lee name…
He meets a grandma on the dark road near the village director’s home. Since there’s no light and it’s dark, he suggests walking her home since he has the camera light. They start talking and it seems they both have the same type of Lee last name.  Grandma is very happy about that.  LSG walks her home and gives her a hug. As he walks away, she mutters to herself: “Someone did a good job in birthing/raising that boy!” :)

Even though Sunday’s 1n2d was sentimental too, looks like they may be saving a lot of the good stuff for next week.  In last week’s preview, Seunggi was shown reflecting about 1n2d as a heartwarming program…
