This was the last episode of the 4-part Korean Route special and it was a heartfelt ep; too bad less than the usual viewership tuned in.  Happy Sunday was broadcast an hour earlier than usual to make room for the soccer game at 1n2d’s usual KBS time slot.  And per the ratings, looks like 1n2d viewers forgot to tune in earlier; while the soccer game had the highest ratings on Sunday.   

These eps were filmed more than a month ago, before the guys knew KimC was leaving the show… and seems the PD staff were trying to prep us for what is to come.  I teared up when SeungGi sang KimC’s Confession song with such passion in the van while KimC, behind those suglasses, seemed to be geuninely moved. 

And based on the BTS photos from the last filming, it may be a major tear-jerker the next 2 Sundays.  I mean we’re talking about close to 3 years of overnight traveling every other weekend among these guys…  boo hoo.

Also, did something special happen on Family Outing?  The ratings were way higher than usual and made it into the top 20 for the first time in a long time.  FO also broadcast opposite the soccer game on KBS so congrats to FO for their ratings…
they needed some good news!  I believe the WonderGirls will be on Family Outing next Sunday; they were scheduled to film FO on the 17th-18th.  There’s a lot of interest since this will be their first variety show appearance since touring in the States; plus, they’re also currently promoting their new album.
