Strong Heart, TV Ratings (4.20.10)

AGB Nielsen:  10- MBC PD Show = 11.0%  
                          11- SBS Strong Heart = 10.1%   
                          19- KBS Win Win = 8.4%

TNS Media:     10- SBS Strong Heart = 10.8% 
                          14- MBC PD Show = 9.6%  
                          15- KBS Win Win = 9.0%

Okay, depending on which ratings you want to go with, AGB or TNS — Strong Heart is #1 or #2 in its time slot.  According to AGB ratings, the MBC PD Show has come out to take over the #1 spot from Strong Heart.  But Strong HEart has beat out KBS Win Win in both ratings, although not by that much.

First of all, regarding Win Win and Strong Heart — these ratings show that last week’s KBS Win Win rating was more of a fluke than a trend.  What’s even more impressive is that all 9 members of SNSD were guests on Win Win… perhaps, this says something more about the ratings power of Rain. 

As expected, a lot of people tuned in to KBS Win Win on April 13th because Rain was doing his first interview to promote his album, but more importantly (which the news articles just happened to have left out in their writeups), Strong Heart had also aired about 30-40 minutes later than usual due to some special presidential broadcast on SBS.   

But this is all a good wake-up call and check for the Strong Heart staff…  since the ratings have continued to decrease over time.  Also, for the first time, the MBC PD show in the same time slot took over the #1 spot from Strong Heart.  Further, Win Win ratings are not that far behind Strong Heart. 

It looks like SH is planning on making some changes, so I’m sure this will help.  SH needs to just work hard to get the show back into top shape.  Curious to see next week’s ratings with Rain as the main guest.

Either way, Hodong and Seunggi have great chemistry together so the PD and his staff just needs to work on the show format part.  I don’t know who they’re using for their editing staff, but they suck.  SH editing staff could learn a few things from the amazing 1n2d editing staff!
